Ben Pettit is a visionary entrepreneur, investor, and the driving force behind STORY, a dynamic marketing agency he founded in 2009. After graduating from Anderson University with a degree in music and business, Ben faced significant challenges early in his career. Between 2008 and 2009, he was laid off three times, the last of which involved over 750 employees. He experienced first hand the hardships of the 2008 financial crisis. These experiences ignited a determination in him to find a better way. Drawing on his background in marketing and his passion for promoting events while in college, Ben formed what is now STORY.

With a hands-on approach, Ben actively oversees every marketing plan and account, ensuring that STORY delivers unparalleled results for its clients. Under his leadership, the agency has grown from a sole proprietorship into a powerhouse team of creative professionals and marketers.

Beyond STORY, Ben extends his entrepreneurial spirit through Pettit Ventures and PG Capital, investing in companies that align with his vision for innovation and growth. He is an owner of AquaOx, Inc., a leading e-commerce brand specializing in high-tech water filtration systems. In 2024, through his partnership with PG Capital, Ben acquired The Rocking Chair Company, a Seattle-based e-commerce brand, further expanding his diverse portfolio.

Committed to giving back to the community, Ben has served on the past boards and volunteer teams of The Greenville Literacy Association and March of Dimes. He is also involved in his church, contributing to numerous volunteer initiatives.

Above all, Ben is a devoted husband and father to two amazing children. His family and faith are the cornerstones of his life, inspiring him to lead with integrity and purpose in all his endeavors.
